Easter is a little less than two weeks away and I haven’t made anything for Lillian. Well, I have made a few skirts but they aren’t specifically to wear on Easter. I thought I would take the time to share a few tutorials that might be helpful for you if you wanted to make something for Easter.
Last year I made an Easter Basket for Lillian using Pink Penguin’s tutorial. I should really make another one but a decent size bigger because as she gets older this basket will not hold all of the eggs that I imagine she will find at her Easter egg hunts.
Here is a twist on a basket and actually, you could easily use the tutorial above with a few modifications to add the ears and face This idea is from Disdressed.
An easy, quick, and cute idea for the girls is to make a basic skirt. You can use my elastic waistband tutorial to help with the hardest part of the skirt. That shows you how easy it is to make.
Let’s not forget about the boys! Try out these cute ties by Sharing the Wealth.
A little something for the home…an egg pillow by All Things Belle.
Last but not least, you can try out these “Peep” plush bunnies by Dandelions & Lace.
I hope you were able to get a few ideas and if you have something that you made and want to share with others, please leave a comment with a link so we can check it out.
We have our Easter egg hunt this weekend and then for Easter we will be with my husband’s side of the family. I look forward to seeing everyone because we haven’t seen most of them since Christmas.
